| A shuttle bus service is available for the short 10 minute trip to and from O.R.Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg to the hotel, at a cost of ZAR32, and this leaves every half hour. The Isando Junction is across the road from the hotel, which has a variety of restaurants at which to dine. A mini gym, pool and meeting room are also available at the hotel. |

| 08h00: After breakfast you have the morning at leisure. |
| 12h00: Light lunch. |
| 13h00: All the runners to meet for equipment check, administration and registration. |
| 15h00: Course briefing and final instructions. |
| 18h00: Dinner. Accommodation booked on a sharing basis at the Augrabies Falls National Park or the Augrabies Falls Lodge. |

| 09h00: Start of the 9th Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon. |
| Each day is detailed on the race program which you will receive at registration. |
| Friday, 17 October 2008 |
| Staggered start for the last leg. |
| 12h00: Finish of the race. Light lunch. Rest of day at leisure. |
| 18h00: Dinner and accommodation at the Khamkirri. |
| Saturday, 18 October 2009 |
| 09h30: Breakfast. Day at leisure. |
| 16h00: Prize-giving and early dinner. Accommodation at Khamkirri. |
| Sunday, 19 October 2008 (Package 2&3) |
| 06h30: Bus departs Augrabies for return trip to Johannesburg. Light breakfast and lunch packs will be served on the bus. |
| 19h00: Arrive Airport City Lodge, Johannesburg. |
| Accommodation has been reserved at the Airport City Lodge, Johannesburg on your behalf on a room only basis. Any extras (meals, drinks, telephone calls, etc.) are for your own account. (Package 3) |
| For international participants making use of the bus transfers to and from Augrabies, it is strongly recommended to overnight in Johannesburg for the night of 08 October and the night of 19 October. It is not advisable to book a flight to leave Johannesburg on 19 October in case of a delay due to unforeseen circumstances. |
