Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon 2008

Win a Race Entry to Moose: Marathon of Ontario Summer Edition

How about the chance to compete in two international races for the price of one? Every competitor that enters the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon 2008 will be entered into a draw to win a free entry to the Moose: Marathon of Ontario Summer Edition in Canada! All you have to do is enter KAEM 2008 and you will be added to the draw, which will take place at the 2008 Prize Giving Function on Saturday, 18 October.              About the Race                                                              The Marathon of Ontario Summer Edition (MOOSE) will be the first multi-day footrace in Canada. The six-day, 302km course will follow the Bruce Trail on the Bruce Peninsular from Tobermory to Blue Mountain Resort near Collingwood. As well as being the longest six-day footrace in the world, it is also one of the toughest with terrain to rival the jungle and temperatures to rival the desert.

Competitors can compete in either of two categories. The traditional 'solo' category is for competitors wishing to complete the whole course as an individual. For 2008 there will also be a 'team' category, for teams of two runners. The team will complete the course as a relay for four of the stages and together for two of the stages.
