Thank you once
again for a great, well organised trail. This time around I knew what to
expect, it had its positives and negatives!! A wonderful challenge, see
you next year!! Allison Pledger - 85km I want to thank everybody who made the most incredible experience that we had possible. We realise how much effort and commitment goes into it and it was really wonderful to share in that. Everything was exceptionally well organised, we knew what to expect and everybody was so friendly, attentive and helpful on the route. I have to admit that the last 2km on the 50km nearly knocked my socks off! You really made this a memorable occasion for Kola and I. Thank you and see you next year. Amanda Visser - 50km Thank you for the most awesome experience ever. It is an absolute privilege to do such an event. Thank you to all who were involved, both behind the scenes and the friendly people at the checkpoints. I highly recommend the event as an unforgettable experience. Ann Mckenzie - 85km That was fantastic, the first 15km I thought I was crazy, after that uphill I knew I was crazy... but once we reached the top well I was with my maker !! The challenge was the toughest I have ever put my body through but the beauty was all worth it. Thank you for a well organized event. From "The big five from St Francis Bay" - Bev Chips - 50km Thanks a lot for having organised this fantastic race. Had I known 2 months ago that it was 50km and with such climbs, I would never have dared to register. But I really loved it and do not regret at all. My children are pushing me to run the 85km next year. Again thanks for all. Without your time and dynamism we would not spend such extraodinary moments. Ettienne de Chezelles - 50km Just a big THANK YOU, for my best run I have ever done. Everything was exceptionally well worked out. Chris van der Walt - 50km Just a line to say
thanks so much for another brilliant event.. Loved it! Absolute privilege!
Guy Jennings - 85km What a great event! The route was marked, nature really talks to you when you experience the spectacular views, as Jayde (winner 50km) mentioned "God is with us" and that was/ is so true. Thanks again. Andre Willemse - 50km Upon arrival in Cape Town last night I couldn’t help but realise the amazing adventure my friends and I had on your event. The seconds were so friendly, check points so well organised, and the route so well marked. The race was truly one of the most scenic and beautiful I have done with the 10kmor so on the ridge sticking out in mind! I hope to have the pleasure of running it again in the future. Thank you. Jayde Butler - 50km Just want to say an enormous thank you for once again organising a fantastic Addo Marathon - my fourth! Having 'retired' to the 25 miler, I felt a bit guilty but no need as it was just as gruelling (I'm sure Heart Attack Hill was higher this year?) and I felt just as tired afterwards. Only difference is this time I'm feeling great, no stiffness or pain. Thanks too to the wonderful marshalls. I'll be back next year..... Lucy Rautenbach - 50km Congratulations on a superb race. You, Estienne and your team did a wonderful job. Thank you so much for an awesome stunning spectacular wonderful amazing experience!! I truly enjoyed every step – even when I felt tired. The scenery was truly lovely, the route well marked; never at any point did I have to stop and wonder if I am going the right way. Your check points were lovely, well stocked and with beautiful friendly helpers. I WILL be recommending this race to everyone I think can appreciate it. And you will see me again next year, and the year after that, and the next one, and so forth… Sharon Jessop - 50km |
