The Check Points are set every 8 – 11 km apart. Check the distances on
the schedules.
2. There are 19 Check Points on the
100Miler.
3. There are 10 Check Points on the 50Miler.
These Check Points have the same numbers as those of the 100Miler.
4. Each Check Point will be equipped with
water, energy drinks, cola drink and sweets.
5. For the 50Miler, Check Point No.6, No.7,
No.8, will also have oranges, sliced bread, jam, peanut butter.
6. The 100Miler Check Points and all Check
Points from No.9 will have oranges, sliced bread, jam, peanut butter,
boiled potatoes, bananas, tea, coffee, sugar, soup.

Jeffreys Bay,
Check Point 14, Oppikoppi, Thijs, William, Deon and Mileen,
with loads of care and OBS for the cold night. These special and dedicated people come back year after
year to look after the participant, all day and all night, and sometimes
through to the next day as well. |
